Tackle Cancer Challenge mobile app

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tackle Cancer Challenge mobile application. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Who provides the app

The Oncidium Foundation FUP
Avenue Herrmann-Debroux 40
1160 Brussels, Belgium
Enterprise number 0838.388.420
contact@oncidium-life.org

2. Your account

You need an account to use the app. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The app is built for adults and is not directed at children.

3. How the challenge works

Tackle Cancer Challenge is a collective challenge. You record physical activity, either manually or from a connected fitness app or health platform, and your distance counts towards your own total, your team's total, and the progress of the challenge as a whole.

Rankings, sector crossings and totals are calculated from the entries recorded at the time. We may correct them if we find an error.

4. Recording activity honestly

The challenge only means something if the numbers are real. You agree to record only activity you actually performed.

To keep results fair, we apply plausibility limits per activity type and may review entries that fall outside them. We may reject, correct or remove an entry that appears not to reflect real activity, and we may suspend an account that repeatedly submits such entries.

These checks are automatic. If we act on one of your entries you can contest it — the Privacy Policy explains how.

5. What you post

You keep ownership of the photos and comments you post. By posting them, you allow us to display them inside the app to other participants, for as long as you keep them online and your account exists.

Do not post content that is unlawful, offensive, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights. Do not post photos of other people without their agreement. We may remove content that breaches these terms, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Remember that other participants can see what you post, and that images can be opened by anyone holding their address. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

6. The app is not medical advice

Tackle Cancer Challenge is an activity challenge, not a medical device and not a health service. Nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and the figures it shows are estimates, not clinical measurements. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a physical activity programme, and stop if you feel unwell. You take part at your own risk and remain responsible for your own health and safety.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may end a challenge.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

9. Our liability

We provide the app free of charge and as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Belgian law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall to the courts of Brussels, without affecting any right you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
